About the Job:

Assures smooth day-to-day operations of The Elliot Breast Health Center and provides on-site supervision responding to the needs of patients and staff. Continuously evaluates and develops action plan that maximizes practice operation efficiencies.

What You’ll Do:

• Supervises daily clerical functions in the office, coordinates provider schedules ensuring smooth daily operations
• Participates in the selection of appropriate candidates for employment within budgetary requirements
• Provides orientation and training to new staff members for all policies and procedures in collaboration with the Human Resource Department, Director, EPIC Team, PPS Billing Office and EBHC Clinical Staff
• Responsible for training staff in relation to revised and/or newly implemented policies and procedures
• Creates, monitors and adjusts physician schedules to maximize provider productivity and to increase patient access
• Greets and registers patients; notifies medical staff of their arrival. Explains registration and billing process to patients and addresses any insurance questions or concerns
• Provides patients with instructions as to registration and billing

Who You Are:

• High School Diploma Required
• 3-5 years of experience in health care setting performing similar work activities (clerical, billing or insurance processing) including knowledge of managed care, Required
• Supervisor experience, Required
