About the Job:

The Director of Hospital Clinical Revenue Services is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of Facility Coding, Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI), Health Information Management (HIM)/Medical Records, CDM Maintenance, Annual Price Increases, and Revenue Integrity. This role ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of Hospital Clinical Revenue Service functions to support optimal reimbursement and minimize risk. The Director monitors key performance indicators, productivity, and quality metrics, implementing continuous improvement initiatives across departments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the end-to-end hospital coding process, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant coding practices for facility services to optimize reimbursement
  • Direct the CDI program to improve the quality of clinical documentation, ensuring it supports appropriate coding, quality metrics, and revenue capture
  • Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of medical records in compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards, while supporting patient care and operational needs
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of the CDM, coordinating updates and ensuring alignment with hospital coding guidelines, payer requirements, and hospital pricing strategies
  • Lead the development and implementation of annual pricing updates in collaboration with finance, compliance, and operational leaders, ensuring competitiveness and compliance

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field, Required
  • 7+ years of experience with progressive healthcare middle revenue cycle responsibilities, including facility coding, HIM, CDI, and revenue integrity, Required
  • 3+ years of direct supervisory experience, Required
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI, Required
