About the Job:
The incumbent is responsible for providing legal services under the direction of the Vice President of Legal Services and for the oversight of the contract review process at Elliot Health System. The Paralegal and Contracts Manager manages projects; performs due diligence; manages the company’s contract review process, including reviewing and preparing contracts; assists with the creation and maintenance of corporate governance documents, filings, and records for various Elliot Health System entities; assists with privacy matters; assists with the Legal Department’s process improvement initiatives; assists with litigation matters; and performs legal research.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintains a working understanding of hospital policies and how they are implemented, including applicable underlying law (training to be provided)
- Drafts, reviews, edits and provides analysis for all contracts, agreements and corporate documents across the organization; manages contract lifecycle within a centralized contract management system
- Coordinates and advises internal departments on the contract review process, ensuring consistency with organizational standards and legal compliance
- Develops and implements streamlined processes for contract management and standard legal language templates
- Maintains, monitors, and reports on access and utilization of the contracts database; manages user permissions
- Conducts legal research as requested and supports legal strategy development

Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree, Required
- Minimum of five (5) years of with the provision of legal services, including experience working with a variety of legal documents and managing legal projects, Required
- Interaction/exposure in a health care setting, legal practice and/or business with basic understanding of health care operations and communication with physicians and staff, Preferred
- Paralegal Certification by National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) or National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA), Preferred
- Well-versed in the regulatory requirements of New Hampshire, Required
