Radiology Technologist Lead - Rad-Diagnostic - Full Time Days

About the Job:

Performs all aspects of the general X-Ray exam. Oversees and coordinates the daily operations to support the X-Ray department. Provides compassion and comfort to all patients. Oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the X-Ray Department. Assures complete records are produced for each exam and assists in the clinical training of other technologists.

What You’ll Do:

• Reviews patient medical information and reconciles physician requests with exams ordered
• Completes essential documentation such as consents and questionnaires prior to beginning patient’s exam
• Performs exams in X-Ray including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, contrast exams and invasive procedures
• Inspects all images performed for quality and proper documentation. Presents completed images to Radiologist for interpretation
• Assists Radiologist with invasive procedures as required
• Works in coordination with the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor
• And more.

Who You Are:

• Completion of formal Radiological Technologist training from an AMA approved school
• Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy, Required
• ARRT certification, Required
• BLS, Required
• Prior supervisory experience, Preferred
• Experience with Epic, Preferred
