About the Job:
The Resource Nurse will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients under the supervision of providers and the Practice Manager. The resource nurse additionally collaborates with the Practice Manager to provide clinical leadership to clinical staff within the practice, promoting evidence-based nursing practice, quality of care, patient safety, and satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:
Provide leadership, guidance, mentoring, coaching, and role modeling to clinical staff
Function as a preceptor to newly hired clinical staff, providing 1:1 mentoring in the clinical setting; facilitates socialization of clinical staff into FMP culture and the ambulatory practice setting.
Performs all functions of the Registered Nurse as described in the appropriate Job Description and accepts patient-care assignments as requested by the Practice Manager.
Assess and monitor the quality and safety of the patient care environment in the Practice and communicate findings to the Practice Manager.
Carry out the nursing process in person, by telephone (telephone triage), and via telehealth modalities
Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and vaccines, perform point-of-care testing, and collect and handle specimens within the scope of practice as determined by the Nurse Practice Act of the appropriate state.
Who You Are:
Current NH Registered Nursing (RN) licensure is required.
Associate of Science in Nursing (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
Certifications: Current BLS/CPR training.
One year of professional nursing experience.
Leadership experience is preferred.
Epic experience, is a plus!
