About the Job

As aSenior Patient Service Representative, you’ll support the daily operations of our medical practice and serve as a key point of contact for patients and staff. You’ll help ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the primary contact in the absence of the Practice Manager
  • Greet and assist patients during check-in and check-out
  • Schedule appointments, surgeries, and follow-ups
  • Respond to patient inquiries and resolve complaints
  • Scan, index, and verify patient documentation
  • Mentor and train new front office staff
  • Maintain provider schedules and coordinate patient flow
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies

Who You Are

  • Education: High School diploma or GED required
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years in an office or customer service setting
    • Medical office or healthcare experience preferred
  • Knowledge & Skills:
    • Familiarity with reception tasks and medical terminology
    • Understanding of insurance procedures and end-of-day balancing
    • Strong communication, leadership, and time management skills
    • Compassionate, adaptable, and team-oriented
