About the Job:

As a clerical support representative, you will assume full responsibility for front desk operations. You will act as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring efficient administrative workflows, accurate data tracking, and seamless medical office coordination.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage Patient Front Desk: Greet visitors, check patients in and out, and schedule language interpreters when needed.
  • Coordinate Communications: Answer incoming phone calls, provide general information, and schedule patient appointments.
  • Handle Documentation & Referrals: Collect demographic data, enter and track referrals, and scan/index medical documents.
  • Process Financial Transactions: Verify insurance requirements, collect co-payments, and accurately balance daily financial batches.
  • Maintain Compliance & Systems: Protect patient privacy under HIPAA laws and stay updated on ongoing EPIC system upgrades.

Who You Are:

  • Educated: Holder of a High School Diploma or equivalent credential.
  • Experienced: Possess at least one year of customer service experience (preferred).
  • Tech-Savvy: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite with basic computer proficiency and an understanding of medical terminology (preferred).
  • Organized Multi-tasker: Capable of prioritizing detailed tasks, meeting deadlines, and staying organized in a busy environment.
  • Compassionate Communicator: Dedicated to providing caring, professional customer service to diverse patients and team members.
