About the Job:

As a Practice Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a busy ambulatory practice, ensuring exceptional patient care, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Reporting to the Director, you will lead administrative and clinical staff, support providers, manage resources, and foster a positive, patient-focused culture.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring efficient workflows and excellent customer service.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop clinical and administrative staff.
  • Manage provider schedules, time off, continuing education requests, and on-call coverage.
  • Monitor patient experience metrics and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction.
  • Support budgeting, staffing, productivity, and reimbursement goals.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, OSHA, and infection prevention standards.
  • Facilitate staff meetings, training, onboarding, and ongoing professional development.
  • Oversee reporting, charge reconciliation, work queues, supply management, and other operational processes.
  • Partner with providers and leadership on quality improvement initiatives and practice growth opportunities.


Who You Are:

  • An experienced healthcare leader with strong practice management or ambulatory operations experience.
  • Skilled in supervising and developing both clinical and administrative teams.
  • Knowledgeable in healthcare operations, budgeting, staffing, and regulatory compliance.
  • A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with staff, providers, patients, and leadership.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced with electronic medical records and healthcare technology; EPIC experience is preferred.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional patient and employee experiences.
