About the Job:

Processes documentation necessary to prepare accurate and timely corporate financial and statistical statements and reports. Protects the corporate assets in accordance with established policy, procedure, laws and regulations.

 What You’ll Do:

• Prepares and enters journal entries and assists in the monthly closing process of the Medical Center and affiliated organizations
• Prepares, reviews and maintains daily, weekly, monthly and annual reconciliations to support various general ledger accounts. Work directly with
• auditors at fiscal year-end and interim audits
• Maintains tables and reports necessary to prepare complete and accurate financial statements
• Identify and research variances in departmental P&L statements and construct a summarized explanation of the variances for management
• Receives supporting documentation including internal or external mail reports, schedules, and checks necessary to enter, validate and support
• the General Accounting functions

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, Required
• 2-3 years of experience, Required
• Understanding of Financial Systems, Required
