About the Job:
As the Executive Director of Total Rewards & Talent Systems, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Southern New Hampshire Health’s people strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this senior leadership position is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational excellence of our compensation, benefits, and HRIS functions. You will lead a high-performing team across these domains, driving innovation, equity, and alignment with SNHH’s mission and values.
This role is ideal for a visionary leader who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment and is passionate about modernizing HR infrastructure to enhance employee experience and organizational performance. You will be a key member of the HR Leadership Team, collaborating across departments to ensure our total rewards programs are competitive, inclusive, and fiscally responsible—while leveraging technology and data to support strategic decision-making.
This is a hybrid position, requiring on-site presence at our Nashua, NH location 2–3 days per week.
What You’ll Do:
Design and manage equitable, market-aligned compensation structures including executive pay and incentive programs.
Oversee comprehensive benefits offerings (medical, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, disability, wellness).
Lead annual compensation planning, salary benchmarking, and performance cycles.
Ensure compliance with compensation and benefits regulations and internal equity.
Manage vendor relationships and salary survey submissions.
Own strategy and operations of HRIS systems (Workday, Healthstream, SharePoint).
Ensure HR data accuracy, security, and accessibility; implement best practices in governance.
Partner with IT, Finance, Payroll, and vendors to enhance systems and automate workflows.
Deliver dashboards and analytics to support data-driven decisions.
Lead and develop high-performing teams across Total Rewards and HRIS.
Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Align strategies with SNHH’s goals in DEI, engagement, and financial stewardship.
Who You Are / Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
Experience: Minimum 10 years in progressive HR leadership roles, with 5+ years managing teams and leading compensation/HRIS strategy. Healthcare or mission-driven experience preferred.
Certifications: Preferred certifications include CCP, CBP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP.
Knowledge: Advanced understanding of compensation, benefits, compliance, and HRIS platforms (Workday, Oracle, UKG, PeopleSoft).
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, project management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tools.
Abilities: High integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to service excellence.
