About the Job:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you’ll play a vital role in performing all aspects of nuclear medicine imaging while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and comfort. This role supports the Radiology Department by preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, monitoring radioactive material use, and ensuring compliance with State of New Hampshire regulations.


What You’ll Do:

  • Perform Nuclear Medicine exams, including orthopedic, cardiac, lung, and abdominal studies

  • Prepare, administer, and dispose of radioactive materials in accordance with state guidelines

  • Monitor and maintain the "Hot Lab" and follow ALARA principles for radiation safety

  • Operate computer systems such as RIS, PACS, and scheduling platforms

  • Assist radiologists with procedures and help train new personnel

  • Ensure high-quality images and appropriate documentation for radiologist interpretation

  • Demonstrate compassion and maintain confidentiality in all patient interactions

  • Use appropriate patient safety and lifting equipment

Who You Are / Requirements:

  • Graduate of a two-year Nuclear Medicine program accredited by the AMA

  • Certified by ARRT(N) or NMTCB

  • Licensed by the State of NH Board of Medical Imaging

  • 1–2 years of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine experience preferred

  • Comfortable with multitasking, prioritizing, and working in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in data entry and working with imaging software

  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented

  • Able to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 35 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds
