About the Job:
The Practice Manager II provides operational leadership for our oncology practice, supporting patients and providers through every stage of cancer care. Reporting to the Specialty Care Director, this role oversees daily operations, staff management, patient experience, budgetary planning, and quality improvement initiatives. The Practice Manager II ensures safe, efficient, and compassionate delivery of oncology services—including infusion therapy, care coordination, and multidisciplinary support—while fostering collaboration among physicians, nurses, and administrative staff. This position plays a vital role in optimizing patient access, streamlining workflows, and enhancing the overall cancer care experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily operations including scheduling, patient interactions, clinical workflows, financial processing, and EPIC utilization
- Manage and develop clinical and administrative staff through performance reviews, training, and professional development
- Create, monitor, and adjust provider schedules to optimize productivity, access, and patient satisfaction
- Develop, track, and achieve patient experience and performance improvement goals
- Participate in budget planning, monitor variances, and collaborate with Revenue Integrity to optimize reimbursement
- Support marketing, outreach, and referral growth while maintaining strong patient relationships
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and organizational policies
- Serve as a liaison across departments, fostering communication, collaboration, and alignment with systemwide initiatives
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in practice management, preferably within an Oncology practice
- Strong knowledge of healthcare financial management, reimbursement processes, and clinical workflows
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to foster teamwork, manage competing priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
