About the Job:

We’re seeking a Supervisor of Diagnostic Medical Sonography to lead our Ultrasound team at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. This role blends hands-on clinical expertise with administrative leadership, ensuring high-quality imaging services and compassionate patient care. You’ll oversee daily operations, staff scheduling, training, and performance management while performing a full range of ultrasound exams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform OB, high-risk, vascular, abdominal, small parts, and emergency ultrasound exams
  • Assist radiologists with invasive procedures and ensure image quality
  • Supervise and train technologists; conduct performance reviews and staff orientation
  • Manage department schedules, payroll (Kronos), and budget reports
  • Prepare QC and ACR accreditation materials
  • Monitor equipment, initiate service calls, and manage supply inventory
  • Resolve patient and family concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and ARDMS safety protocols
  • Lead departmental meetings and communicate policy updates

Who You Are:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Ultrasound program
  • ARDMS certified with NH Technologist Imaging License
  • 3–5 years of ultrasound experience; supervisory experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and imaging systems (RIS, PACS)
  • Compassionate leader with strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
