About the Job:
We are seeking a Director of Health Information Management (HIM) and Revenue Integrity to join our Revenue Cycle team. Reporting to the VP of Revenue Cycle, the Director will provide oversight, strategic direction, and day-to-day operations for HIM, Coding, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), and Revenue Integrity functions across our acute care and outpatient facilities, as well as medical practices. The position involves managing both internal teams and vendor partnerships to support the organization's goals of high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage HIM, Coding, CDI, and Revenue Integrity functions to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant operations.
Develop and maintain education programs for staff, ensuring adherence to coding guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the Revenue Integrity department, including managing the Chargemaster and ensuring accurate reimbursement through coding and charge capture.
Collaborate with finance, IT, and clinical teams to optimize processes and enhance revenue cycle performance.
Who You Are:
A leader with at least 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, including HIM, Coding, and Revenue Integrity.
A Certified Coding Specialist and Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), with a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field.
Experienced in managing teams and optimizing operational processes, with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
