About the Job:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Supply Chain Innovation and Logistics Strategy is responsible for the strategic design, execution, and continuous improvement of supply chain operations—including sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and logistics. This role plays a vital part in supporting high-quality patient care and organizational growth through efficient resource management and technology-driven solutions.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead the development and implementation of an integrated supply chain strategy aligned with clinical and financial goals
• Partner with key stakeholders across departments (e.g., Finance, Nursing, Pharmacy) to support care delivery and safety
• Oversee procurement, sourcing, inventory, and distribution operations across all SNHH sites
• Direct vendor negotiations, supplier quality programs, and technology adoption (e.g., ERP systems, automation tools)
• Manage the end-to-end contracting process and ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop and monitor budgets, conduct expense forecasting, and lead cost-saving initiatives
• Use analytics to identify standardization and savings opportunities
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team with clear performance metrics
Who You Are / Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in healthcare supply chain/operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Deep knowledge of healthcare systems, regulations, and technologies (e.g., Lawson, EPIC, Pyxis, Omnicell)
• Exceptional communicator and strategic thinker with a track record of leading cross-functional teams
• CMRP, CPM, or CSCP certification preferred
