Southern New Hampshire Health (SNHH) is seeking a forward-thinking, high-impact Executive Director of Access & Engagement Systems to lead a transformational strategy that will shape the future of patient experience, operational performance, and care coordination across our growing organization. This is a mission-critical leadership role that provides direct, high-touch access to SNHH’s senior executive team, including the Chief Operating Officer.
The Executive Director will be deeply embedded in enterprise-level planning, leadership development, and systemwide decision making, with influence over both daily operations and long-term strategic vision.
With oversight of all front-end access functions—Central Scheduling, Pre-Registration, Registration, Financial Clearance, Insurance Verification, Authorization Management, and Financial Counseling—you’ll serve as the architect and executor of a truly seamless and equitable access experience from first contact to post-discharge.

What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership
Build and implement a systemwide access strategy aligned with SNHH’s growth, innovation, and value-based care goals.
Optimize workflows across inpatient, outpatient, ED, ambulatory, and virtual care settings.
Champion digital access tools like AI, self-scheduling, and omnichannel platforms.
Operational Excellence
Direct front-end operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and empathy.
Lead enterprise-wide initiatives like eCheck-in and digital appointment optimization.
Use data, dashboards, and KPIs to drive performance and accountability.
Technology & Innovation
Collaborate with IT and EMR teams (Epic/Meditech) to improve system integration.
Apply predictive analytics to close access gaps and enhance scheduling.
Revenue & Financial Engagement
Improve insurance accuracy, compliance, and point-of-service collections.
Partner with Finance to reduce denials, boost transparency, and increase front-end revenue performance.
Team Leadership
Develop and lead a high-performing, mission-driven access team.
Foster a culture of empathy, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Invest in coaching and leadership development across your teams.
Executive Influence
Serve as a key voice in strategic planning and executive forums.
Align access models with clinical capacity and system growth initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
Education: Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
Experience: 10+ years in healthcare access or revenue cycle leadership, including 5+ years in a senior or system-level role.
Expertise: Proven success in access redesign, digital front-door strategy, and revenue cycle optimization.
Skills: Proficient with EMRs (Epic), analytics platforms, and patient engagement tech.
Certifications: CHAM, LEAN, CRCR, or similar preferred.
