About the Job:
As a PET/CT Technologist, you will perform all aspects of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging studies while delivering compassionate, patient-focused care. This position plays a key role in oncologic, orthopedic, cardiac, and other radiopharmaceutical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You’ll work under the supervision of the Supervisor of PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes per department protocols
Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine exams with high-quality imaging results
Assist Radiologists with invasive procedures when needed
Monitor “Hot Lab” and ensure compliance with NH state safety guidelines
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, RIS, PACS, and scheduling systems
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and radiation safety standards (ALARA)
Document patient consents, questionnaires, and complete exam follow-up
Participate in training of new staff and department quality control procedures
Who You Are / Requirements:
Graduate of an AMA-accredited Nuclear Medicine program
Certified by ARRT(N) or NMTCB and licensed by the State of NH
PET certification (or willingness to obtain within 1.5 years of hire)
1–2 years of Nuclear Medicine and/or PET/CT experience preferred
Skilled in patient care, multitasking, and handling sensitive information
Able to lift up to 35 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs
Comfortable working with radiation, sharp tools, and bodily fluids
A compassionate communicator with a strong attention to detail
