About the Job:

We are looking for a Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst to join our team. This key position supports the financial health of the organization by leveraging data analytics, reporting tools, and operational insights to optimize revenue cycle performance. The role involves developing complex data models, conducting analyses, and providing actionable recommendations to leadership. This analyst will collaborate across departments to ensure accurate revenue capture and continuous process improvement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain SQL databases, dashboards, and reporting tools to support revenue cycle operations.

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, variances, and provide data-backed recommendations.

  • Lead monthly and quarterly reviews of revenue cycle KPIs.

  • Support contract negotiations, payer audits, and collaborate with Managed Care, Finance, and Clinical teams.

  • Conduct payment variance and denial analysis to improve collection performance.

Who You Are / Requirements:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • You have 5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle analytics or financial analysis, with at least 3 years of experience with hospital billing, managed care, or decision support systems.

  • You are proficient with Epic systems, SQL database management, and Power BI.

  • You have strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
