About the Job:
As the RN Director of Inpatient Services, you will oversee four units—4 East, 4 West, 3 East, and 3 West—managing 24/7 operations and patient care delivery. You will act as a mentor and transformational leader, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and vision while enhancing patient care and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include staffing, budgeting, mentoring Nurse Managers, and fostering a positive work environment. The role reports to the Executive Director of Inpatient, Critical Care, and Maternal Child Health.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage the Inpatient Services departments, ensuring high standards of patient care.
Oversee staffing, budgeting, and performance reviews for staff.
Implement quality initiatives, fostering professional growth and development within the teams.
Collaborate with Nurse Managers to align unit goals with the broader Patient Care Services Strategy.
Ensure compliance with hospital documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate unit performance and make improvements based on staff and patient feedback.
Participate in disaster planning and ensure staff readiness.
Who You Are / Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in nursing (Master’s preferred).
Five years of progressive leadership experience, with expertise in clinical settings.
Current New Hampshire RN licensure (Nurse Executive-Board Certification preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship abilities.
Proven ability to manage budgets, staffing, and regulatory compliance.
