Position Summary

Responsible for the recruitment for all positions, excluding physicians, within designated client base. Responsible for developing and sourcing candidates, screening, interviewing, referring applicants and onboarding of new hires.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Work with hiring manager to develop and review open jobs within assigned business unit or department.
  • Create job postings and advertisement material for approved requisitions.
  • Attend and organize open house events/job fairs as needed.
  • Establish relationships with University Alumni Groups, Career Placement Centers, Alternative Learning Institutions and other allied health organizations.
  • Use a variety of sourcing techniques, network resources and innovative talent acquisition strategies to identify high performing candidates (both internal and external) to fill approved requisitions while building pipelines for projected/anticipated openings.
  • Perform all recruiting activities: source, screen, interview, and review qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Engage and partner with hiring managers on interviewing process and final candidate selection.
  • Notify candidates not selected for positions. Responsible for the overall management of candidates and outcomes.
  • Conduct reference checks and verify applicable licenses and education and background checks to maintain organization compliance.
  • Prepare and extend offers of employment in conjunction with, or on behalf of hiring managers.
  • Educate candidates on compensation, benefits and performance evaluation practices/programs.
  • Prepare new hire or transfer paperwork, schedule pre-placement physical examination/testing and schedule attendance at New Hire Orientation.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and new hire on-boarding.

Position Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience:

A minimum of one (1) year of recruitment experience required.

Healthcare experience preferred, but not required. 

Workday software experience a plus
