About the Job:

The Supervisor, CT Scan/Nuclear Medicine supports the daily operations of the CT Scan and Nuclear Medicine departments while performing a full range of CT imaging procedures. This role blends hands-on clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality imaging, regulatory compliance, efficient workflows, and a supportive environment for both patients and staff.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform CT exams—including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, contrast, and invasive procedures—according to departmental protocols.
  • Review patient medical information, reconcile orders, and complete required documentation, consents, and questionnaires.
  • Inspect all images for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper documentation and timely presentation to Radiologists.
  • Assist Radiologists with invasive procedures and prepare/administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast per protocol.
  • Oversee daily operations of CT and Nuclear Medicine, including staffing, scheduling, supply management, and equipment service coordination.
  • Prepare and maintain annual budgets, variance reports, QC documentation, and ACR accreditation materials.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews, lead regular staff meetings, and ensure technologists are trained and competent on all relevant equipment.
  • Orient and train new employees and complete payroll accurately using Kronos.
  • Respond to staff and patient inquiries or concerns with professionalism, compassion, and timely resolution.
  • Uphold HIPAA standards, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure safe patient handling practices.
