About the Job:

  • We are seeking a Manager, Revenue Cycle Transformation.

  • The Manager, Revenue Cycle Applications Transformation is responsible for leading the planning, delivery, and adoption of enhancements, optimization efforts, and transformational initiatives across Epic Resolute and associated Revenue Cycle systems. This role focuses on advancing revenue cycle capabilities through disciplined project delivery, workflow redesign, platform optimization, automation, and modernization efforts that improve financial performance, user experience, and operational efficiency. The Manager partners closely with Revenue Cycle, operational leaders, and IT peers to translate strategic priorities and business needs into executable roadmaps, funded initiatives, and measurable outcomes

  • General schedule Monday-Friday, Eastern time business hours with some flexibility. This position participates in an on-call rotation to support application needs. Occasional requirements to cover special events/staff requirements during hours outside those generally worked may be necessary. This position requires an appropriate virtual home office environment, working remotely. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and mobile devices. Travel is occasionally required to support business requirements for Go-Live installations or training which may require travel by air, vehicle, or train.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the delivery of Revenue Cycle application enhancements, optimization initiatives, and transformation programs, new functionality adoption, workflow redesign, and integration of enabling technologies.

  • Serve as the primary IT Owner for Revenue Cycle application enhancements and transformation initiatives, owning requirements definition, backlog prioritization, sequencing, and outcome-focused delivery.

  • Lead domain-level planning and execution for initiatives that improve revenue integrity, reduce manual effort, streamline workflows, and enhance end-user experience across patient access, billing, claims, and follow-up functions. Apply a high degree of technical and business expertise as a consultative leader, acting in an advisory capacity to identify, design, and deliver solutions that capitalize on development synergies, challenge traditional approaches, and push Revenue Cycle technology and workflows beyond the status quo.

  • Partner with Revenue Cycle leadership to identify, shape, prioritize, and sequence enhancement and transformation opportunities into actionable roadmaps and funded work, aligned with organizational strategy, capacity, and governance.

  • Apply Agile and ITIL-aligned practices to manage enhancement backlogs, project portfolios, and delivery workflows, balancing speed, quality, risk, and operational readiness.

  • Coordinate closely with the Manager, Revenue Cycle Applications – Service Reliability to ensure changes are operationally ready, supportable, and transitioned smoothly into steady-state operations.

  • Drive adoption and value realization through structured change management, stakeholder engagement, training coordination, and post-implementation evaluation. • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and reduction of technical or process debt, partnering with enterprise architecture, integration, data, and automation teams as appropriate.

  • Provide consultative, domain-level insight into upcoming changes, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs, acting as a trusted advisor to business, clinical, and IT partners to inform decision-making across portfolio governance and leadership forums.

  • Partner closely with Clinical Applications leadership, Training, and Informatics teams to ensure Revenue Cycle initiatives are aligned with enterprise workflows, documentation standards, reporting strategies, and end-user education, supporting consistent adoption, change readiness, and system-wide optimization.

  • Ensures assigned applications are consistent with professional standards of practice including clinical, financial, data security standards, HIPAA, legal, regulatory and policy requirements. Remains current with healthcare and information systems developments/emerging healthcare trends.

Who You Are:

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree or combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree

  • Possesses an active Epic certification in Revenue Cycle applications and will be expected to obtain ITIL Foundation and SCRUM Product Owner certifications within six months of hire.

  • Have a minimum of five (5) years of combined IT and healthcare experience, including at least two (2) years managing IT infrastructure, as well as demonstrated experience in healthcare operations.

  • Able to demonstrate deep expertise with healthcare IT systems, including Epic EHR and related third‑party applications, possess thorough knowledge of healthcare technical environments, and show solid proficiency in best practices for system analysis, documentation development, and creation of statements of work.

  • Able to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to guide and evaluate team performance, support the development of leaders, manage competing priorities, and make complex decisions in fast‑paced and evolving healthcare environments, while fostering collaboration through active listening and contributing to a positive, inclusive workplace.

  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentation, operational procedures, and applicable regulations, and possess the ability to author clear reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation for both technical and non‑technical audiences, as well as present complex technical risks and roadmaps in a manner easily understood by clinical and business leaders.

  • Must be able to complete work through continuous use of a computer to perform job responsibilities.

  • Must be able to communicate frequently and effectively with others verbally, in writing, and by virtual meetings (including camera)
