About the Job:

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring financial compliance and preparing critical reports as per the organization's procedures, laws, and regulations. This role involves preparing and filing various financial statements, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare cost reports, as well as assisting in budget preparation and supporting departmental financial processes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and file the annual cost report and other filings required by CMS and Medicaid, including wage index data and occupational mix surveys.

  • Advise management on governmental payer regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare.

  • Maintain and verify the accuracy of the contractual allowance reserve model and the third-party settlement reserve accounts.

  • Support the annual operating and capital budget process and train department managers on budgeting software.

  • Prepare financial statements for the Surgery Center of Greater Nashua and Radiation Center of Greater Nashua, ensuring compliance with year-end audits.

  • Perform financial reconciliations on daily, weekly, monthly, and annual bases to support general ledger accounts.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis experience in a healthcare setting, including experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare cost reporting.

  • Understanding of accounting principles and general knowledge of GAAP.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

  • Proficiency in Excel and Word.

  • Ability to work with various levels of management and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
